Isabel Valenta is a fiction writer and attorney based in Montreal, Quebec.

Based in Montreal, Quebec, she spent 10+ years as an attorney at several national and international firms, having specialized in film and television financing and M&A. Isabel holds degrees from McGill and the University of Ottawa and is a board member of the Quebec Writers’ Federation and LOVE Quebec.

After practicing as a corporate lawyer for a decade, she swapped her legal career for one in books. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University and attended law school at the University of Ottawa.
